HEPA/NEPA

HDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will be completing Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) for the Daniel K. Inouye Highway Extension Project in compliance with the Hawai‘i Environmental Policy Act (HEPA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Updates regarding these processes and specific environmental resources will be provided on this page as the project progresses. The analysis will consider the following environmental considerations, among others:
